It's not just Jeffries. Many Dems in Congress are just politicians who live in blue states. They wear their "D" to get elected only, and then serve their donors and themselves, just like Republicans. And they'll be equally spineless when their donors' interests are threatened.

Spending tax dollars on medical care is "Free Healthcare" and somehow Socialism. Why isn't defense spending called out as "Free Aircraft Carriers" and equally socialist?

In 3 months, Republicans are going to be posting statistics like these as "evidence" of your failed "regime". All the structural problems they create with decades of corrupt policy becomes Democrats' fault when they cannot fix everything after 3 months of Republicans fighting them tooth and nail.

Because MAGA will support all of that and allow Trump to shift the narrative back to "us vs. them". As long as people are talking about Trump's history of raping underage girls, Trump is almost completely alone. So, he tries to double down on the cruelty and retribution his former supporters crave.

He wants to shift the narrative because he knows his former followers can get behind an insane and immoral call to execute Democrats since it's arguably for the good of the country. He knows now that MAGA won't get behind his raping underage girls. It's (so far) the one unforgivable sin.

When Democrats got political power, they used it to improve people's lives with things like the ACA, even though their enemies demagogued the issue and forced them out of power. When Republican's get power, they cut taxes for the really, really rich.
