Amazon's adaptation of The Expanse was great. It could never be a 1-1 translation, and I'm glad it didn't try to be. It built out a great world, had solid acting, and was satisfying. But books and adaptations will always be different things.

And Jackson's LOTR is better Tolkien than Tolkien, IMO.
