Had a good art and friendship recharge yesterday going into the City for the first time in a year for NYCC related fun. Got some book treasures from Kino’s and this is a signed book of Cassandra Calin, who was super nice (been a longtime fan). Feeling good about our little comics community today :)

It’s been a little over a year since we bought our house but I’ve finally renovated the living room. I completely tore out the built in shelves and re did them with oak, painted, added better fitting furniture and was even able to put up some framed art. More to do but I’m pretty happy with it all.

Update on the woodworking and eventual frame shop. Got some shiny orange stools and built a scrap wood station. Up next will be a router table. #woodworking #workshop

Finally have some time to work on my home woodworking/frame shop and I made these two dudes. A basic work bench and a matching (sort of) miter saw station. Been fun planning, then making stuff.

Somehow a small bird got into the house and my cat caught it almost immediately. Good job buddy, you’re very good at being a cat. (He’s upset that I took away though)
