Was the communication meant to say there weren't enough votes to indict on all counts? Or was the document marked incorrectly and should have said that there were enough votes to indict on the second and third counts?

ICE arrested comedian Robby Roadsteamer for singing a parody of Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” in a Jeffrey Epstein the Giraffe costume outside their facility.

He sings “If you hate brown people / and you are a Nazi” and ICE thugs grab him and drag him into detention. No violence—just speech.

Seems to belie some desperation. You don't do something as unusual as this in a case like this. Meant to draw the eyes of reporters and the public. Probably indicates that the court fears that the order will go unfollowed. Puts some heat on the circuit court too.

But it would be a mistake to focus too much on which statutory power is being used here. What matters it that Trump is federalizing the Guard for the purpose of policing Americans’ protest activity. That’s dangerous for both public safety and democracy. 8/19
