I’ve been thinking Liverpool fans have enjoyed a double-golden-era these past few years. Watching Liverpool compete at the highest level, win trophies and play fucking good football all while watching United implode, embarrass themselves and then implode some more. It doesn’t get much better.

Good point. That’s theoretically the perfect way to respond to him going to RM. Yet Liverpool is an emotional club where loyalty is incredibly important. I’m fine w him going, but unsurprised that others are slagging him. That’s all.

Why not? He’s going to a hated rival. Not everyone likes that. They have a voice as much as the fans who understand his decision. It’s not childish. It’s the Kop telling him he’ll never be a Liverpool legend. His choice. Fans reaction.
