Matt Layson - insurance agent

4th generation insurance agent that educates on auto home and business insurance. Sometimes I talk life design, music, workout, and video game stuff also.
I never voted for Trump once but I’m absolute intrigued by the idea of reinventing FEMA, reinvesting those funds into the state, so the state can specialize and do risk management to minimize disasters before they happen and react to them faster. Instead of waiting for the Feds to show up someday.

Adjusters tell me that the highest paid adjusters are flood adjusters. Does that make sense? I know a life insurance agent, who was on a disaster response committee who adjusted flood claims, but he has never had the license to do the work. Does that make sense?

Now if Trump is just going to delete FEMA and not reinvest any of federal funds into state ran disaster recovery, then yeah this is going to age like milk. But you need to know there are issues.

Because FEMA has a bad reputation. People don’t like how long and complex it is to deal with auto insurance claims but flood insurance is often a worse process. Our agency brought in a company because they manage claims and keep FEMA adjuster accountable because it’s such a known issue.

I like the question but I’m annoyed with how many people choose to ignore it and use this post to instead talk about negative things that have happened. I’m trying to love people on both sides of the political spectrum well.

Build a health care system that side steps insurers. That’d be a massive help to the working class.

A nice mushroom indeed

Also how cheap they are, with the money they are making these days I think they’d rather take my ass to collections than whatever “services” I could offer 😆
