So I came up a bit short but it was all good as @hadesblade.bsky.social
avenged me by beating Jacob in the finals. The Wolf Pack vs Ice Buffalo Pack rivalry continues! Congrats to Michael for winning another big event! 10/x

Thankfully game 2 was a real game in which I actually played cards early and ended up winning a nice back and forth match. Game 3 we had a staring contest for much of the game until Jacob destroyed me with a couple massive damage turns.

Sorry @loganpetersen.bsky.social for having to cast what will go down as the worst “played” Alpha Clash game on stream of all time 😆 . The game ended with no damage dealt by anyone and no cards left in either player’s deck. I accidentally beat myself by drawing a couple cards early in the game. 8/x

I then played Clashground Vegas champ Jacob Snodgrass in the semi-finals. Unfortunately I didn’t know what I was doing game 1 and basically gave the game away. 7/x

In the top cut on Sunday I had to play my teammate @zachbunn.bsky.social on his patented Death deck. I was able to get him 2-0 in some very fun games. It’s never good having to knock out a teammate in top cut but Zach did manage to get the Death bounty card so it was all good. 6/x

My tournament started off with four Krung mirrors, including the first round against my teammate @ian-shaffer.bsky.social; and it finished with two matches against Major Dean with the last one being against my teammate Merrick. 4/x

I played @hadesblade.bsky.social Krung control deck (black with a splash of green) which he perfectly designed to take full advantage of the meta-warping Somewhere In Des Moines card that was featured for this event. 3/x

However, at the Pro Tour last December my three practice games were only good enough to get me 9th place. This time I wanted to make top 8 so I played a whole five practice games and it paid off big time! 2/x
