I know you're a big solar/storage fan. Out here, onshore wind still makes sense economically.

A majority of my electricity comes from wind, and our utilities experience 46% fewer outages, and when they do they're 54% shorter. And we have some of the lowest rates in the country.

Think this is the most fascinating thing about the increase in AfD vote share: they got 1.9 million votes from people who didn’t vote in the last election. Easily the biggest beneficiaries of the 8% increase in turnout.
