I know it's a little early for tomorrow's sandwich alert but I turned these figs into a jam and then put them in a grilled cheese with bacon and brie and it turned out like this.

Accidentally bought 2.5 lbs of dried figs from Costco awhile back. So now I'm making a massive batch of fig preserves to get me through the winter.

Stoller's boneheaded wish-casting aside, it wasn't like the Harris campaign was a forceful defender of Biden's antitrust regime. Many people were concerned that Harris would walk back Biden era antitrust, and she had plenty of opportunity to run against corporate power and chose not to.

Minneapolis could, I imagine, have nice things too. If they elected leaders who choose to implement the solutions that we know already work.

My favorite part of the Sibling Rivalry that @moreneighbors.org and @sustainstpaul.bsky.social hosted at @blackhartstp.com tonight was when the @racketmn.com editors were forced to talk about Saint Paul & they mentioned the survey in which I chastised them about not talking about Saint Paul enough.

I'm not sure what degree of punishment for a company that constantly engages in this type of behavior but I think we should at the very least not have the CEO responsible for this sort of thing be in partnership with driving massive investments throughout the country. Banish them from public life.

Wife and I went to Spoon and Stable for our 5th wedding anniversary while my sister babysat the kid. It rocked. It rocked almost as hard as the old guys we watched jam at Berlin before the meal. 10/10 highly recommend going on dates and doing cool shit.

You shared this email from the House DFL, and I provided the context for why they would be sending such an email. Do you think it's appropriate that someone like the June 14th assassin could own such an arsenal without the state having any idea a man with such a violent ideology owned them?
