I work retail in a red state. I saw a customer today with a shirt that said, "Pure Blood Patriot." I'd love to have someone explain to me what "Pure Blood" means without it sounding horrible and racist. I bet they can't.

Watchmen Chapters 1 & 2, the latest adaptation, this time animated, was actually pretty good. Perfect? Of course not. The comic was designed to be a comic and any attempt to adapt it automatically makes it “lesser than,” IMO. That said, it’s probably my favorite version outside of the actual book.

I finally got around to deactivating my Twitter. Days later, I FINALLY got my Bluesky invite. Coincidence? 😆
