Really liked the book. Goes deeper than just Goering, lots of detail about other Nazis and psychiatry. Kelleys life post Nuremberg also fascinating. Saw Nuremberg this evening and found it really disappointing. Think I bored my brother by talking about and comparing the book all the way home.

Also as a non historian I'd be fascinated to know how you go about researching in places like Belarus, if you speak the language or rely on translators etc.

It would be great to have an episode about you and your research. Maybe one of your colleagues could interview you when the 2nd edition of your book comes out. How you got into the subject, your work on Belarus and Eastern Europe. Your favourite Book on the Holocaust.

It was the only thing worth watching on British TV in the naughties, especially on E4 and C4, before streaming and it's been planted into the subconscious of 30-45 yr olds. It was always on tv in the background. Unfortunately I can quote every line, using up valuable brain space.
