Regarding that first screen grab, it's not just the metro. They are everywhere in outstate Minnesota as well. Pulling workers off of roofs, doing random stops.

The killer in the first example was vilified and held up as an example of all that is evil in those who disagree with the administration, while the killer in the second example was honored and the victim was immediately slandered.

This seems like a lot of lip service to me. The article says they will stop short of arresting ICE officers. I'm not sure how they expect to help anyone if they aren't willing to use all of the tools available to them.
