Perhaps the bigger issue is his fantasy of rugged individualism and the need to get big government out of the way. Turns out, he's just another charlatan. Turns out, Pollan didn't do his homework (not such a big surprise since Journalist dip in and dip out...)

As a father of a college-aged student, I would have questioned my daughter's institution and President if she had her arrested for peacefully voicing her opinion of a war that has taken over 50,000 lives and counting. I am grateful that did not happen at #Wellesley.

The characterization of arrests on May 1st was about 'safety and security" and protecting "free expression" was opposed by over half the college faculty who voted to censure her for colluding with law enforcement to arrest and brutalize her own faculty and students.
