can someone smarter than me explain to me why the android app that I "installed" through Android Studio yesterday at 2:34 pm (the last time I modified and ran built the project) was working yesterday at 9pm completely fine, but now a day later it reverted to 1/2

@samuel.bsky.team do you know the purpose of that domain? bc it makes Google searches for accounts kinda annoying as these web-cdn links are often the first result as well and idk it's just annoying, they won't open in the app automatically and I'm obviously not logged in either

who thought that not setting up a redirect for www.bsky.app -> bsky.app would be alright 😭 even in 2025 there are definitely a lot of people who automatically type www in front of ANY domain @bsky.app

while I can imagine why you switched to the android splash screen api instead of the weird one from before where it'd show the system splash screen and then transition to a second splash screen, I don't really understand this design choice of a dark logo in front of a lighter background,

kinda love how surprisingly well made this POS's UI is? I mean you could argue it's a little dated but I'm honestly a big fan of these skeuomorphic design choices, like the metal textured background, with the glass-styled buttons 😅

can I ask, is the new animation when opening posts finalized? bc don't get me wrong it's a huge improvement, but I think the native one looks so much snappier, the new one just.. doesn't feel as snappy idk, I couldn't find the PR responsible for the change otherwise I would've commented there 😅
