I agree apart from Destiny and Djed - great left-side combination. Note to TF: That's how Spurs should play, and we won... who'd have thought it... now, learn from it!

Brilliant article. Nothing I disagree with. Only thing missing is the fact ST holders were given a badge to commemorate 125 years of that first (and only non-league club) Cup win. Then the modern Spurs proceed to get knocked out in our first round... only at Tottenham. Martin Chivers tribute - class

'GBNews snaps at its heels'??? In what world is this true? GBN is a 100% partisan talk-shop for the right! Nothing more!

Very poor, Andy. You have been called out by @pamnashes.bsky.social. Not sure why you want to try to score points against the BBC, but it looks like disinformation to me - ironic when this is something you implied the BBC was doing - they are very clearly not!

Let's hope so... attack, I mean.

Thanks Rob. I am in the west stand. No booing around me - it seemed it was all from the south stand. Yes, a catastrophic error, but why and who would ever boo your team? But it seems that the old taboos no longer exist. And a fan base taken for granted for too long are restless. Still crap, though!
December 1, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Thanks Alasdair. Much happier with these answers. I hope 'fans' end the booing now. I don't know the % who were booing, either, but maybe 15%??? I hated it happening and don't understand it - at any point during or after! These are our boys, after all. Hope the reaction is positive and attacking.

She clearly doesn't realise she is in 'Soviet Britain'. That's the last we'll ever see of her. She's off to the 'gulag' (wherever that is - Chipping Norton?)

Me, too. Edge of seat stuff in all episodes, and some stand-up moments. Brilliant series (again). Brilliant TV!

Yes, that is the exact reason. Tone of the article is all wrong. Should be about how the non-elected lords has forced a government to change a clear manifesto commitment. Shocking, really.

We only scored due to a single piece of brilliance, nothing else. xG of just 0.07! In a NLD! We were never in the game - either first half or second half. Shockingly poor!
November 23, 2025 at 6:24 PM
Not the Spurs way, though. Should be playing on the front foot. We cannot play this defensive way against a (I hate to say it) very good side. How can we possibly score without having a single shot - on target or otherwise???

This is excellent, too - and from 4 days ago: www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/ideas/media/... Sorry it is on the other place, though.
The BBC has bigger impartiality problems than its coverage of Trump
It is the BBC’s entire governance structure–rather than individual stories–that should cause most concern

If you manage to get past the first three pages of Das Kapital you will join to top 0.1% of (so-called) Marxists in the world. A dirge from start to page 3 (I cannot tell you the ending...)

Well, there's the problem, Alasdair, right there in the first paragraph because the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is NOT in Los Angeles...😂

Great article. It unnerves me when people have a view on everything and are dismissive of others (The Guardian comments sections are a great example of this, nowadays!). Life is messy, just accept it and live to your code as best you can with the goal of improving lives where possible.

It is a halo 😇- Hugo has been am absolutely saint through his cancer and the aftermath! Been through so much - and still only three.

Scoville looks beautiful. Hugo says Hello.
October 2, 2025 at 2:33 PM
We didn't. Compared to last season's semi-final and the control we had, this was the opposite. Another really poor performance. Fortunate to come back from that - and lucky with that penalty miss.

Excellent suggestions. All seem fair to me and sensible.

Hi Alasdair, any news on when we may get to know the actual date for the EFL Cup match against Doncaster? Thanks.
September 2, 2025 at 6:48 PM
Leicester finished on 25 points, Spurs on 38. Realistic chance of going down, negligible at worst. Not good enough in the League, yes, but we did however, win a major trophy, as well.
