The "even better bike lane" on union between 14th & MLK, on the other hand, is a marked improvement because it's relocating the path. I just hate that several miles of toronto barriers are being used up for performative metrics on bike lanes that were already pretty good.

@seattledot.bsky.social is about to make an equally costly and unnecessary enhancement to Gilman Ave W, which is a already a safe ride. Lack of political will to fix the real problems funnels the infrastructure money into places that don't need it.

The free bus zone in downtown Seattle was unfortunately gross. I’m all about subsidizing transit but we get very different between outcome between $2.75, $1 and free. I’m in the $1 camp.

Every time I see SDOT rebuilding a curb ramp due to the Reynoldson v. City of Seattle lawsuit, I wonder if the law would accept a continuous sidewalk or curb bulb. It seems some demolition costs could be avoided.

Some street's in my neighborhood are now more dangerous due to SDOT recently adding no parking signs along the full length of the street. I'm pretty sure it's due to the fire station's complaints. N 73rd near Phinney is a good example.

Similar to the N 130th infill station, I'm concerned by adding more stops that make lightrail slower than it already is.
