Take a break from today’s insanity and chaos, maybe read about the French Revolution. Apparently the French economy was growing but the tax burden fell mostly on the farmers and peasants. Once again, past is prologue. Note that it didn’t end well for Louis XVI.

@drsarahballantyne.bsky.social how about a series on getting the best nutrition if you eat at a fast food place? Here’s what i chose today at Braum’s. Bought a single pancake plus strawberries and a fresh apple to accompany the pancake. Was like having dessert (strawberry pancake) for breakfast.
