Field trip to Dresden with our seminar ‚Exhibiting Science’ with students from @hhu.de and colleagues from art & global & medical history. Visited Grünes Gewölbe, Hygienemuseum, Ethnologisches Museum. Great group, interdisciplinary, learned a lot myself!

Perhaps a little late to the party: reading @timothysnyder.bsky.social‘s On Tyranny. This little book is timely, thought provoking and a joy to read. Despite drawing lessons from the darkest chapters of the 20th c, it inspires some hope in me that we might learn something from history.

#WeRemember Friedrich Tintner (1873-1943). He practiced as a medical doctor and held many patents. Tintner died January 13, 1943 in a camp within the city of Vienna, from where he was about to be deported.
