I just got notification that the SDF-1 Macross has shipped! This is the last piece for my Macross collection! I missed it's release the first time, but I didn't this time!

Another project I am working on. I have a couple SD Macross Resin kits and I want to paint them up in alternate colors. I am going to do a ton of masking so I can try some dynamic painting. I've bought custom decals and I will also be using a decal kit for the VF-25 to get more modern markings.

I went to the Gundam Base Pop-Up shop yesterday and I picked up a few model kits, the MGSD Aerial Gundam and the old man RX-78-2 in the Gundam Base Color! I look forward to putting these together!

I have had this basic McFarlane Space Marine for years and have been meaning to modify it into my Nightlords character from the original Space Marine videogame. It took me a while but I am finally getting closer to finishing this figure!

I got my hands on the Iron Bloom Deck for The Gundam Card Game, and I pulled the rarest card from the bonus pack! I can't wait to give this deck a go against a human opponent!

Put in my pre-order for the Bandai VF-17 Nightmare from Macross 7! I really love the VF-17 and I am looking forward to seeing how Bandai handles the figure. Hopefully less QC issues than the VF-171.

One of my favorite Valkyries in my collection. The YF-30 Chronos was created solely for the PS3 game Macross 30: Voices across the Galaxy. This is the first time the built-in mission pack was integrated into the Valkyrie and continues on in the VF-31 Kairos and the VF-31 AX Kairos Plus.

I received my VF-27 SP yesterday! I am a huge Macross collection and this is the second to last pre-order to finish my large scale collection! All I have left is the OG SDF-1 Macross coming out in October!

I picked up the Starfield Visual Compendium. It is absolutely amazing for the amount of alternate and art-in-development images! I'm putting this up there with the original Art of Dead Space book, both are invaluable to me.

So two thing, one, the SDF-1 Brink kit is huge (It's standing next to the 1/3000 Bandai SDF-1 from 84) and two I'm only at the half way point... probably another two weekends worth of work.

I bought the SDF-1 Macross lego-like kit to try and help me divert my attention from the horrible shit going on. It 4900 pieces and should stand around 18 inches tall... I was not ready for the box...
