Just booked an interview with an agency I’m a huge fan of. I’ve worked solo for a long time, but I’ve realized the best way to grow is to surround myself with folks that are as hungry for knowledge and excellence as I am. Super excited for this conversation.

Learning blender has been a long journey and there is still a seemingly infinite depth to still learn, but this is a big step for me personally as simulations were one of those things in Blender that I’ve been drooling over for years while also be baffled whenever I tried to crack it open.

Took me nine months of full time freelancing after ten years of doing it part time to fully embrace the formula of estimating time as (time it takes to do the job) + (time it takes to find a way to make it better) + (time it takes to review and fix mistakes that WILL be there) = project price.
