Current Arc: In Search of New Brainworms. 27, He/Him
Decided to do my homework before seeing the movie tonight.
I knew what was going to happen, and I still felt my heart racing. That's the power of good atmosphere baby.
Good game. Do not trust me with driving the sub.

Need some time for the ending to settle with me, but yeah, that was a good movie, and an excellent conclusion to this subseries.
Lupin is so cool man.

A not insignificant amount of people will see Immortal Bloodline without seeing this, and that's a shame, cause this movie is great.
Zenigata is so cool man.

I liked it more than I remembered! I still think it's weaker than the previous two, but not by a wide margin like i thought.
Fujiko is so cool man.

Prepping for Immortal Bloodline baby!
Fujikos situation notwithstanding, banger. Jigens so cool man.
Revolver Fire is so goddamn funky.

We need more anime anthologies. Every story was visually unique and a joy to watch, even when the subject matter got heavier.
I need a Goodbye Eri movie please.

Running anime just has the sauce I guess.
What an amazingly made movie. The way it was shot, the transitions, some absolutely killer lines, this was an insanely good watch.

New Year, new media thread.
What exciting brainwroms will I be inflicted with this year? How long until this thread gets muted? Let's find out!

In a year filled with AI slop, especially in a month where people are falling over the sword defending it, UNBEATABLE is a refreshing piece of art.
It's messy, but it's human in its messiness. AI could never make me feel the things this game has.

I have a lot of nostalgia for the original Air Ride, so I mean it when I say this game blows it out of the water.
Beyond just being "more game", there's more visual feedback for engaging with the mechanics, which just makes the game feel so much better in EVERY mode.

Confession: I haven't "beaten" this yet. I got 11 endings before I had to take a break.
That said, I had no expectations going in, and was very surprised by what I played. I want to go back and get every ending, which has to count for something.

I could've put any of the Resident Evil games I've played here, but classic 2 is the one I find myself pining to return to the most.
Something about this entries in particular just hits different.

If this is considered one of the weaker entries, the the rest of this series must be amazing, cause I think this is low key my favorite entrie in the Sky trilogy.
Kevin's so cool man.

It's fine. I appreciate it feeling more like a story rather than a collection of pretty setpieces like the last one, but I still can't really muster anything stronger than "it was okay"
And boy, this movie sure does just stop huh?

I cried.
It's a messy game, that's undeniable. But its such a raw, genuine piece of art, and the emotions it made me FEEL trump any technical or narrative shortcoming I can think of.
And there aren't words for that.

Dumb stupid movie (affectionate)
They had to nerf Captain Gordan by putting him in a cell for half the movie, cause he would've solved all that real quick.

It's weird. At its core, it's Resident Evil 4 with multiplayer, and that's awesome. But the campaign feels like its... going through the motions?
Maybe I'll feel stronger about it on replays (either solo or with some fresh blood), but right now I guess I think its fine?
