My department just reaffirmed this guideline, which actually applies to the whole organization as well. Exceptions are few and far between.

My Senators don't seem to take voicemail and calling during their business hours in DC is tough. I've been emailing them but wonder if calls still get more weight in the tallies.

The convenience of fast delivery, large selection, and often competitive prices, all in one place is hard to resist. Most working parents I know are quite reliant on Amazon, Target, and/or (ugh) Walmart. But the social costs of this shopping model are growing and perilous to ignore.
