The Bears are making history with their pick.

With the No. 10 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Chicago selects TE Colston Loveland.

Sources: The Bears have paid another key piece of their defense. This time, they lock up LB TJ Edwards on a 2-year, $20M extension with $16.6M fully guaranteed.

The Bears are adding a veteran quarterback to the room, signing Case Keenum, a league source confirmed (ESPN first). The 37-year-old has the experience that should be valuable for Caleb Williams and Tyson Bagent. Would still expect Bagent to be the No. 2, and the Bears to then carry three QBs.

WOOF. Cubs get two on via the walk as Sasaki was wild, and then PCA hits a hard liner that gets snagged and turned into an unlucky double-play. That sucked man.

Been a fan of Grady Jarrett for a long time. Always thought he was underrated, even when he was second-team All Pro. Extremely durable and bounced back from his torn ACL well. Can still play.

Less than three months into their offseason, the Bears:

-got the best HC on the market
-hired an experienced complementary DC
-traded for two Pro Bowl guards
-signed a veteran center
-currently adding experience along DL to build through the trenches

…what is this feeling? Is THIS optimism??

The Bears are not messing around in the trenches at all.

3 new starting OL and 2 starting DL already onboarded.

The Bears aren't done on the defensive line. Per Schefter, they're signing DT Grady Jarrett. He had 9 TFL, 12 QB hits last season. The Bears' interior D-line:
Grady Jarrett
Gervon Dexter
Andrew Billings

The Bears get their edge rusher, per @bradbiggs.bsky.social: Dayo Odeyingbo. He's got the size we know Dennis Allen prefers (6-6, 286 pounds). He's only 25 and had 17 QB hits in each of the past two seasons.

No early free agent signings that will affect the top 10 of the NFL Draft yet.

Chicago does feel like an Ashton Jeanty or defensive line landing spot after securing the interior of the OL.

Can take OL off the board for Chiefs in Rd1, I think.

Drew Dalman to Chicago has felt like a lock for weeks now. I know folks have mixed opinions on him but I do like that, after last year’s disaster class, they gave Williams a veteran center.

The Ben Johnson era begins with a major investment in the new IOL—Thuney-Dalman-Jackson.

LT Braxton Jones (for now)
LG Joe Thuney
C Drew Dalman
RG Jonah Jackson
RT Darnell Wright

Brand new interior O-line.
The Bears are signing C Drew Dalman to a three-year, $42 million deal with $28 million guaranteed.

The Ben Johnson era begins with two sizable moves to invest in the OL—the position group that made his old team great
Sources: The Bears are expected to trade for Chiefs All-Pro G Joe Thuney, as the Chicago continues to load up on the offensive line.

KC gets a bit younger, plus frees up some money to use elsewhere.
