Thank you! The brownish one (not full white head) looks to be a juvenile eagle, possibly 2yrs old. I was in the right place at the right time to see the adult fly up and look to confront the juvenile.

April is a good time. Make sure to check to see when each entrance opens to vehicle traffic. Check out Gardiner, MT (north entrance), it’s open all year and they’re are great places to stay in town. Get into park early for wildlife viewing or aroused dusk! Happy shooting!
