Yeh, and he will have to live with it the same way Owen still whines and cries that hes not loved at Anfield! Tough shit you make your choice, I get the lure of Madrid but we are currently better than them so it’s up to him

I would keep him as he’s worth more than we would get however I would play him when suits us and when doesn’t! And if we did win major honours I wouldn’t let him on the parade as he wouldn’t deserve the love! He doesn’t deserve the hate but deffo doesn’t deserve the love

Ironically the wide roads are 20mph but once you get away from that and it’s single dirt track then 60 is fine 🤣 welcome! My Mrs is from Salford and has no idea how I drive down certain roads at the speed I do 🤣

He’s definitely adapted his game and although his stamina and running is the same his acceleration and overall pace has dipped a touch but he has the tactical awareness to change the threat he poses

Fair point, but he looked like he didn’t want to track runners. Maybe he wants to be playing in midfield but there is still runners to track. Given all that though we are top and still should have won yesterday

We need a left back, Robertson is our best option and he’s starting to decline. Trent on the ball yesterday was good but looked like he couldn’t be bothered tracking back. For the first time in now concerned he may not sign a new deal, been confident of him signing up until yesterday

I do know because you’ve just told me. We are allowed different opinions, clearly you are far more interested in statistics than I am but I’m not suddenly going to think Nunez should be our first choice striker, I just don’t see it

The quality of chances he gets and the fact that I would not trust him with an important chance to score in a critical game. I want him to succeed but I would be surprised if he was first choice when everyone is fit and next season I think he will be further down the pecking order

Personally don’t think his output is fine but football is about opinions. Can’t fault his movement or workrate maybe that’s why I find him so frustrating because he could be phenomenal I just can’t see him getting there

You’ve baffled me with statistics now 🤦🏼♂️ for me for the chances he’s provided with he doesn’t score enough. Imagine taking Salah out of this team could you imagine Nunez picking up some of the goals/assists? Personally I can’t however his work rate and contribution to the team is good

Any point before he became a pundit and highlighted why he never went into management 🤣 but on a serious note, his performance and goal in the 9-0 v Palace in 89 was brilliant

Kerkez as a replacement for Tsimikas next summer and a gradual changeover over the next couple of seasons makes sense

Could see Nunez being a rotation option for Szoboszlai but he’s not got the output to be first choice for us. However the fact that he is constantly available makes him less disposable than Jota, all around Jota is the better option except that you cannot rely on his availability

which game do you think we secure the title then?? Home against Spurs? Away to Chelsea? Home to Arsenal? We really need to push on and secure a big lead, may need to rest players at the end of the season if we have a few finals to look forward to

Yes I’ve only heard good things whereas I’ve heard of issues with Cherki’s attitude but I would expect the club will be checking all that kind of stuff out
