Actually, having looked at the live video again, lead guitar is at the 10th fret (same voicing, different fingering).

Actually, having looked at the live video again, lead guitar is at the 10th fret (same voicing, different fingering).
It sounds like two guitars playing out of different voicings of D, one open and one at the fifth fret. This looks like what is happening on the live video, and the lead guitar at least (but possibly both) seems to have dropped the bottom string a tone to produce a low root note on the bottom.
