3/ Your phone’s IMEI acts like a digital fingerprint.

2/ Before preparing to protest, secure your communications. Opt for a burner phone that isn’t a full‑featured smartphone—choose a degoogled Android or a basic device, and never transfer your contact list or log into your regular services.

Before leaving, consider sending direct messages to those of sane mind, letting them know where you are migrating to.

Also be considerate of others still on Meta/X. Some people have to engage for their livelihood like marketers, influencers, social media managers and small business.

If you don't have and aren't getting a burner, consider a faraday bag to avoid having your cells IMEI tagged when demonstrating. Make sure to power off your device, and place it in the bag at a neutral location before you go to demonstrate, and do not power it on unless there is an emergency.

Also strongly suggest should you demonstrate in-person in the days, weeks and months ahead, leave your primary mobile device at home. If you do not yet have a burner, be careful when considering one. You must avoid contaminating your new device by transferring contacts, logging into google, etc.
