It is really important, and my challenge to journalists and academics and so on in general is to do this, to point out how completely and utterly out of kilter the UK's idea of "local" government is with international norms. Local government on these islands is an embarrassing legal fiction.

Arrived here after the other place became too toxic, Musk has destroyed what was something special. (Actually, more, just less awful). Hate the idea of being manipulated, which is where we are with what was Twitter. Here for hope and also whisky! Which is more what I actually do.
