Nearly two years ago, I wrote about AI translation, its burgeoning presence in the manga industry, and why people were understandably livid about it. It remains one of my proudest pieces, and I was honored that my editor came to me with the story, entrusting me to do the topic justice.

First honorable mention is my review of Ninja Kamui. I never delight in tearing down people's hard work, but getting to the bottom of why this show was a disappointment felt like an imperative. Toonami is awesome. It deserves better.
