Mostly by difficulty/stage in the program. 1000: Gen Ed; 2000: intro to the major, some Gen Ed; 3000: intermediate methods, genres, themes; 4000: upper-level seminars, mostly literary histories organized by period. But we also have linguistics, creative writing, and rhet-comp scattered throughout.
