Really interesting work! But should “The darker the hexagon, the stronger the association between that area and the given city” (from your linked post) actually be “the *lighter*” in the maps shown?

I'd use FME but it's a bit of an investment if you're not going to use it for anything else, and they recently stopped giving out free licenses for non-commercial home use :(
