Nader got 97k votes in Fl in the 2000 election. Gore lost Fl by fewer than 1000 votes. He lost the 25 Electoral College votes from FL and therefore lost the presidential election. Many other things contributed to Gores loss. Nader himself has said he was a factor in the loss, though.
