It was a minor, though pervasive, problem that was massively overblown because it was easy for consultants to explain to non-techies. It was a boondoggle for those consulting companies. Those of us fixing the code considered it a joke.

For my entire lifetime, and I am not young, there has been a western propaganda wall protecting Israel from any consequences of their treatment of Palestinians. Your argument just amounts to “fuck, they shouldn’t have seen that”. You don’t even attempt to argue Israel’s actions were just.

i am that nerd. Agree with both recommendations. Would add Arcady Martines Tiexalaan(sp?) series and the Rivers of London series if you like urban fantasy with humor …oh, and AndrianTchaikovskys’ “The Final Architecture” was a fun sci-fi read.
