Okay, here's the truth:
I actually do plan on making a Mario fangame called "Mario's Big Adventure".

These are all of the playable characters. The Mario... I mean, the Plumber Bros use coloring based on how they looked like up until supermariobros 3. Buckenberry and Alan Gold are meant to be the iconic blue and yellow Toads. Alan's hat is meant to represent how coins are planned to look in this game. Pauline's design is based off her in-game appearance from the original Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong now has a banana wrapped around his neck by a vine, and DK JR looks like Diddy Kong because, from what I remember hearing, during the development of DKC, they redesigned DKJR, but then they decided to turn the design into a new character "Diddy Kong", and leave DKJR behind. Legal distinction for Peachette and the super... uh, I mean the magic crown. You might be wondering about the wario and waluigi versions of Buckenberry and Alan Gold and the shimmering golden garlic, right? That is a new power up that I made up called "Loser's Garlic". I made it because I felt the other two Toads were kind of left out, so I made the Loser's Garlic as their version of the magic crown. Alan Gold turns into Wario Gold, and Buckenberry turns into Waluigiberry. The game's logo* *subject to change
