This preserves evidence, prevents content from being quietly edited or deleted, and ensures that future readers can verify the original source.

Almost five years after I wrote this on Facebook, my first book was published. Back then, I thought I might just self-publish a short e-book—I honestly didn’t think I could land any sort of book deal. I’m so glad I took the chance, wrote up a proposal, and cold-emailed a few publishers.
