5 was okay but it was clearly post-peak (4 was also bad in retrospect but did still feel blockbuster) and never recovering. 6 a brief return to form, but the magic was gone.

there’s nothing especially wrong with it tbf, but they set expectations as high as possible, pushed release back by a year (lol) and then delivered… the same game, but with a skin optimised for using a controller. a miles masterclass.

err it is a lot harder to get rid of players, but equally they’ve fucked it with free transfers: 27 year old Lauren Hemp without a club for 9 months, Klara Buhl similar, as wage demands were high and none of the few teams with a budget needed them. Wouldn’t happen really!

it probably does, but i've just set them as the same one and it has made no different. first season i was predicted bottom and had a title run without any signings of note.
