I kinda like when games do this show and don't tell too much approach, like your character lives here and you discover it as you go. I feel Claire Obscure did this well, recently. Delivering raw exposition is a tricky balance in an interactive medium.

I think it's a cycle of consuming content about a hobby or similar on the path to or instead of Just Doing It ( you only see peak or well produced stuff, it's like Instagram body dismorphia for motivation), and the idea that you need to have the best×ideal gear to start instead of good enough gear

It would be very nice to be able to save a few loadouts per character; you get alot of skills / pictos / lumens later in and it's cumbersome.

I had a very similar experience last weekend and the family really enjoyed the crowd energy! ( my six year old was also mostly unclear on the Why)
That's part of movies, right, that visceral tension of a crowd at a good horror flick - can't be beat.

If it's at all reassuring I had this done recently and was pleasantly unconscious the whole procedure, with no pain or side effects apart from dehydration from purging ( which is awful for sure )
