Father’s Day golf game by bike (and not the only ones there!)

Something tells me Westminster CO doesn’t really want people biking to their parks. 80-100 car parking spaces. Effectively 1 bike space.

Nothing quite like a little [indoor] golf in the middle of January…by bike!

I can guarantee it is a great way to carry golf clubs for a little winter [indoor] golfing!

Denver paints these on streets, names them “neighborhood bikeways” then leaves them like this a week after a snowstorm. Main car streets are clear and dry. No surprise almost nobody else is out biking!

I love biking in the winter, but Denver sure makes it difficult. These are Denver’s denoted “bikeways” a week after the snow fell. No surprise, all the car thoroughfares are clear and dry. @denbicyclelobby.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy

Yay, it’s a snowy day! That means we can all skip the price of the lift ticket and get all our crisp, refreshing exercise and adrenaline right here in town!

First ride with my new Redshift Arclight pedals! Naturally, just a neighborhood ride to Illegal Pete’s for lunch with the family.

Forgot to charge my e-cargo bike before the ride to schools this morning. Luckily when an e-bike battery runs out, it’s still a perfectly functional (albeit, heavy) vehicle!

I love cool, dark evening rides in the winter (even if it’s just taking kids to/from karate). It’s quieter, calmer, and fewer cars around. Only thing that would make it better would be a gentle snow!

Lunch run with the boys! Not surprising a fast food restaurant on a busy, dangerous arterial stroad doesn’t have any bike facilities. Luckily the Bike Streets app at least finds me safe, quiet streets to get here!

Stop #1: Breakfast foods to get the kids through a Thanksgiving week at home. Stop #2: some things to get me through a Thanksgiving week at home. Stop #3: Snarf’s for lunch on the way home.

Thanksgiving grocery run in the bag (bucket?)! With tons of room to spare…

Second school stop of the day. My boys and I bike (and/or ride in the bucket) to school every day of the year. Rain or shine. Hot or cold. Slick or clear. Love starting the day with some fresh air and movement! @americanfietser.com

Reported a car blocking the bike lane on 41st at Federal in Denver this morning. Denver 311’s response: there isn’t a bike lane there. WTF. I agree it is shitty infrastructure, but paint and signs is about all we get in Denver… [pic isn’t today…just evidence of a “bike lane”]
