I hit this 1-2x~/wk 😭 I've found npm is backed by clustered couchdb thus need to replicate globally before they can permit a `publish` or whatever. That + the eventual consistency model of 'high availability' (where reads are free and writes are ack'ed and queued be visible in all read paths). 🙏

I hit this 1-2x~/wk 😭 I've found npm is backed by clustered couchdb thus need to replicate globally before they can permit a `publish` or whatever. That + the eventual consistency model of 'high availability' (where reads are free and writes are ack'ed and queued be visible in all read paths). 🙏
