What lack of support exactly? What could the left have done exactly to change the administration's deeply-held position on I/P?

His uh 'steadfast' lets say support for Israel undermined a lot of good will he had on the left. There's other stuff like breaking the railroad strike, student loans, environmental stuff, Roe, etc, but the biggest thing was his refusal to push for a ceasefire and his rubberstamping of aid to Israel.
