The pomp and circumstance is literally the article linked above, this hasn't been announced officially. Again, the thought is that the divisions are mostly/purely for scheduling and playoffs will be using the league as a single grouping.

That is exactly the plan (at least that's what speculated), the divisions are just telling you how you get the last 5 games on your schedule after you play everyone once.

There's always going to have to be compromises, not having RBNY and DC together isn't ideal, but that might not be avoidable. Seems like a reasonable alignment, much more interested in what the playoffs look like.

He doesn't have the resume, but the way RBNYII played in the playoffs was genuinely fun to watch, and if he can replicate that on the big stage, let's go.

Based on their social media, if this is a "major" announcement, looks llike this is for Michael Bradley.

That's an option as well. They could certainly add a spur to the HBLR to port. The're new housing on the road into the port as well that deserves a stop also.

I'm sure a decent number take transit to Penn Station or somewhere else nearby, then have to Uber or something the last few miles. People take transit to the Airport all the time, a cruise seems similar to me.

Is there enough room at Bayonne for more ships? I'm not sure Bayonne can handle their own plus the ones that leave from Manhattan. Bayonne also has no transit to the port either.

Many of the ports are very walkable so you don't need to go crazy with excursions. Almost all itineraries will stop in Victoria, but potentially only for a short time (because the law says they have to stop at a foreign port).

Gravy is not its own thing, no one eats a bowl of gravy by itself (ok, someone probably does). Cranberry Sauce (out of a can!) can take its place.

It's surely a better name than City Name FC/SC like half the league is.

I do. Do you know when the NFL and college football seasons, the most popular in the United States, are? Like right now, right? Those are what the playoffs are against in the current calendar. That's not better, despite my personal preferences.

Come 2027 I dream of a MLS/NWSL final double header on the last week of May. I know a lot still has to happen but how cool would that be?

The way electors are chosen does this. If electors were selected on a proportional basis, then other parties would be able to pickup at least some electors.

This is the problem with a two-party system when one party controls everything. We need multiple parties in the House. Even if we has a conservative coalition as the dominant force, it would be unlikely for the non-Republicans to allow Trump to get away with what he gets away with now.

Can verify that this is mostly true, it's just "Jersey Week" because no one cares about the British crown dependency. The weather is generally quite pleasant around this time.

If instead of a primary election in which 90%+ of the electorate are all of one party, and thus you are virtually guaranteed to run unopposed every time, would a vote of the local district/city party committee be better for democracy?

When the switch happened, it was said nothing was stopping them from staying on a plane for multiple sets. They just haven’t done that, and I think that’s really hard if the schedule has a UB set or two between them.

For most, I'd think 1 of 3 reasons:
1) They enjoy hunting
2) They enjoy target shooting
3) Self-protection in case someone wants to maim or kill them

They aren’t what they once were for sure. Agree hopefully changes come for next year.

As much as I hate to admit it, he’s absolutely right.

Yes, there’s a stand and they’re also available in the Bodega.
