I hate clickbaity titles. In both cases, standard practice of fielding a rookie for the FP1 test. They are otherwise NOT getting rid of their stable drivers. It's also annoying that GPFans felt the need to write identical articles about this too. I wish media would do better. #F1

So, working on FuManchu performance today. Taking a very simple template, and tuning some infra bits to reduce allocations.
This was mainly switching to structs and simplifying bits. ~75% reduction of allocated memory as a first step. Spanifying is the next step
