Today's executive order by Trump purporting to "restore sanity" to American history is nothing less than a declaration of war on historians and the Smithsonian from top to bottom. Their assumption is that we are too weak and divided to fight back. We need our own declaration and plan to fight.

I think there is going to be a Red Rural Recession and soon if all the cuts continue as is
All the firings, cancelling of grants and contracts with companies , the closing of offices, disproportionately impact small towns, cities and states.

always good to call folks in, not out. education and employment in my home state (AL) is especially impacted by the NIH cuts decreasing access to public universities and tariffs affecting blue collar jobs. let’s tell our neighbors with dignity and respect
