I agree, I just hope we come to our senses soon. Per an AI search, only five women where directly elected as head of state in 2024 (out of 31 elections). Iceland, Moldova, Mexico, Namibia and N. Macedonia. All other female heads of state came to power via parliamentary system.

Exactly. If we're going to lose, I want to see lots of Nique, Ellis, Monk, Max, and Murray. I'm so tired of heavy Westbrook minutes and even worse, Dennis and Russ at the same time.

Which seems more authentic. Dems have a bigger tent with lots of core issues affecting different segments. See Schumer getting roasted for talking about egg prices when other burning issues were present. To some extent, messaging needs to be multi-faceted and at the same time clear and concise.

Monk was playing well on both ends, Zach was scoring, and Clifford got some minutes we've been clamoring for. Russ was already limited due to early fouls, so maybe take minutes from Demar? Just too many guards on the team. I'm all for more Monk, Clifford, and Keon minutes.

I told my wife tonight I think they had to photoshop the smile on his face for the smile cam images of the players. Every once in a while, he'll make a play and you can tell he's releasing some anger, but it's still subtle. Malik, on the other hand, you never have to guess what he's feeling.🤣

Considering he's been the 4th-5th option on offense typically, I would guess those were games the team was moving the ball around and the offense was clicking. Other than the Utah game where he caught fire, I dont remember him getting touches almost every possession much. Good to see.

The fouls on Nique and Demar were ridiculous. Keon's was borderline, but he appeared to make an effort to avoid the landing spot, it was SGA's legs kicking out that caused any contact.

UBI seems the way to go. No income requirements and effectively tax it back at higher incomes. Will their be people who spend it unwisely? Sure, but studies I'm aware of show most people act in their best interest. But agreed, rhetoric from right would make it difficult.

IIRC, first 5 baskets for Suns were inside restricted area--too easy. Fortunately, they couldn't hit anything from outside in 1H. The Off Reb killed us. Perimeter defense was not great, but it looked liked the team was trying. FT% and Russ hitting front iron on everything

Agreed, FB comments are 70-80% pro MAGA on any news post, and a good percentage are proudly racist, transphobic, etc. It's disheartening even though I know it's just a vocal minority.

I haven't been able to watch preseason games, is the PG situation bad enough to justify taking minutes away from players we need/want to develop?

It was good, but kept waiting for something that immediately captured me like her previous hits she worked on with these producers. After listening a few more times, they're growing on me and I like them, but it's not hitting me immediately like Rep, 1989, Red, Lover did.

Liked it, didnt love it. Was expecting a different style based on the build-up. Maybe more listens will change my mind...I didnt love Folklore/Evermore immediately either. No clear hits stuck out to me, it felt more like music to relax to on the first listen.

Aside from "what's the plan with the roster moving forward?" Since you asked this on BlueSky, will the Kings have a bigger presence on this platform? I'm done with X and FB algorithm is a mess. It would be nice to have more Kings updates while I'm doom scrolling!
