Earlier today I enjoyed a culminating moment of three years of work. The dissertation is now in. Time to take a break — then begins the preparation for the viva in early December!

I’m remembering why I used to set my alarm for 05.30. I’m up before everyone else and loving the quiet of the morning.

Getting up early like that was sort of detailed when my kids were born, but maybe it’s time to get back into it.
