I think my concern is that I was formerly a Labour Party member, and am a socialist. I'm not 100% sure I'd be welcome?

I'm very close to registering as a member, and it's because of Zack to be honest.

We have a shit electoral system that basically favours two very shit parties who get 250 seats each unfairly, and the every other party gets like 4 despite getting millions of votes

This place is better for discussion and my interests, that place is fun to watch disintegrate

There was a bit of a resurgence during the GE around the independent campaigns, but honestly I feel as if that was more "fuck you" energy directed to Starmer than anything

Exactly. It's impossible to see any sort of meaningful debate/discussion there as its just rage bait responses.

I think what's sad about it is how there are vocal left accounts on there who remain because of the engagement.

I got addicted to this very clever puzzle game called two dots, basically getting to the end of the level tree, then it updated with a whole host of practically impossible levels that weren't just challenging they were cynical. There was no subtlety in that difficulty pay to win spike

I agree with assisted dying in principle, but cannot shake the concern that it'll just end up being the end result of Neoliberalism. Not adding anything of use to the economy, to the chamber you go.

Can you imagine the outrage and protest if he did come here?

I like to to think they have beef with Rome Indiana

I think it doesn't go far enough, there are plenty of people who wouldn't qualify due to not being considered end of life, though their actual quality of life is poor. People living with terminal and painful disabilities though not life threatening have no recourse.

Productivity is just capitalist speak for profitable. There's more to life than just making excessive profit for capital.

It's hardly a free speech haven when you can literally pay to have your comments appear at the top.

I don't want the tories back in, obviously, but it would be so so funny for the briefcase centrists to lose this badly.
