That was my immediate reaction as well. Feels a bit like trying to turn a anti-consumer practices message into a PC vs Console argument. They weren't really reacting to the lack of RAM but to the cadence of release cycles. Not that PCs were superior because they'd somehow be immune to the shortages

Simpler in the regard that they're more 'plug and play' than a PC. It's easier for a parent that isn't tech savvy to get a console for their child and a PC to game on.

Considering the amount of right wing influencer videos I still see about how they need to fight back against the liberal democrat fascists and stop them from destroying america, and how trump just said that the market falling is the fault of the elected democrats, probably not.
