I'm really just a novice here, but a quick look seems to suggest strong, but dynamic typing? So not static, but not terrible? Honestly I was just quietly marvelling at how the data manipulation expressions seemed so effortless and simple to read!

I've used this analogy before too and I agree! For some inexplicable reason I've never found it lands quite right — but I also don't have any better ideas top of mind haha. I've definitely shifted more into the general 'design' label also to avoid the inevitable chat about lamps and chairs etc...

Which tbh isn't even wrong but I wonder if it works against design a little bit at least in some organisations?

I personally really like this — though as others have said I think it comes with some other connotations too. Specifically in some parts of the agile development circle 'architect' is seen as a role that likes to do a lot of detailed 'waterfall' style planning up front.
