True. It’s a very offensive question.

Ohhh 😮 That’s a really good point.

The first question I pondered was #1, ”I am a sympathetic person”. According to myself or others? What if others don’t notice me being sympathetic because they misinterpret my way of communication? Or is being sympathetic all about the recipients interpretation?

My system involves deconstructing the meal. I separate the foods to distinct spaces on my plate. I then eat them separately but mixed, that is I don’t need to eat all the potatoes first and then move to carrots. I eat a piece of potato then some carrots and back to the potatoes.

I sometimes doubt myself being autistic, just like many other autists. This test was what I needed today, so thank you! The test took some time to answer because I kept thinking about what the questions were about, there are so many interpretations. But the test somehow gave a clear indication.

I just made a post about a study that disproves a link between paracetamol and autism.

It is hard to study the correlation between a non-prescription drugs and autism since there is often no paper trail. In Sweden there is a database called ”the birth registry”, among the things registered is the answer to the question of what pharmaceuticals Swedish mothers took during pregnancy.

However when they compared mothers who had several children during that period and where the mother only used paracetamol during one pregnancy the correlation disappeared. So they concluded there’s no link between paracetamol and autism.

This nationwide cohort study with sibling control analysis examines the association of acetaminophen use during pregnancy with children’s risk of autism, ADHD, and intellectual disability.

In 2024 a study on 2.5 million children born 1995-2019 was published. The conclusions were that 7,5 % of the children was exposed to paracetamol during pregnancy. They also, at first, found a small correlation between the use of paracetamol during pregnancy and an autism diagnosis.

Do you mean Matha Wells the author of The Murderbot Diaries (one of my favourite book-series) or Margaret Weis the author of the Dragonlace-series? I don’t get the connection between Margaret Weis and Murderbot.
