I haven't read the book and I probably won't. However, we were put at a huge disadvantage by Biden's decision to run for a second term. If he had stuck to one term and there was a primary it may have prevented oligarchs burning down the federal govt right now.

Horrible, horrible stuff. Especially when this disease is so easily prevented. This is what happens when science is rejected.

I want as many districts as possible to go blue in the next election. I also want the people of the US to come together for a common cause. But please be clear what that common cause is. It must be standing in the gap to keep the current administration in check for Americs's working families.

And let's not forget that Ukraine gets a huge amount of money from USAID. That's why Putin's double buddies of Trump and Musk would love to have control of that money.

I'm glad, but we need the all confirmations to come to a grinding halt until federal departments have their funds and Musk is locked out of the treasury.

Schumer, Pelosi, Klobuchar and the rest of their ilk MUST go. The DNC needs leadership right now and to go completely apeshit. Like, obstruct EVERYTHING within their power. Their antiquated outlook on statesmanship is out-gunned in this environment.

We have to take a page out of the GOP playbook and gum everything up. Archaic points of order, grandstanding, whatever it takes to slow them down and make a spectacle of it. We know how it's done.

This is honestly our gravest threat right now. An unelected, unappointed oligarch has now taken the power of the purse away from congress. It is by far the most unconstitutional thing this administration has done so far, and that's saying something.
